it remains necessary to continue the work of the Hub until further funding is found as follows:

 

Citizen Advice York (CAY) Support to continue the development of Our City Hub to 31 March 2026 (£13,631.50) and during 2026-27 (£24,000) to be used for matching other funding opportunities

 

In summary the funding externally provided by government allows Our City Hub to continue to support residents from diverse backgrounds by providing a range of advice, information and advocacy to navigate local services and connecting with statutory and VCSE partners.

Options Rejected:

Not to approve. There is a requirement for us to spend this funding in line with guidance provided by Home Office around integration.

 

Consultation Process:

Consultation has been undertaken with colleagues across housing, communities and the VCS to identify the most appropriate way to use this funding to meet customer need.
